Anybody got a pair of 107cc rectangular, closed port, BBC heads casting number 3904391 and a date code around August '67? Oh yeah, cheap? or maybe reasonable?

I could be wrong, but I do not believe the 3904391 heads were cast as late as Aug. '67---I'm thinking that May or June was the last casting for these heads. I know that the 840's came out in May of '67. Any way, the 391 heads are going to difficult to find in the "cheap" price range. These typically fetch 2K/3K per set (done, nice, ready to go). The 840 heads are a bit more reasonable in price (maybe 800.00/1800.00 depending on condition, dates). I have some single 391 and 840 heads, also have some 392, 842 and 074 aluminum heads. G.

Hey, thanks for the reply. I have a matching number 68 Camaro that has lost it's heads along the way. What I am looking for are a pair of heads that would fit with an August 21 block date. I am looking for the 375 horse heads... closed rectangular port, 107 cc. These are just numbers that I got from Mortek. Mortek only gives years of production so you are probably right on the casting dates. Thanks,
