Looking for experienced corvette mechanic
I am looking for a mechanic in the Minneapolis western suburbs to restore the engine on a 1978 Corvette that's been sitting in storage for some time. It's in excellent condition but engine needs to be cleaned up. I heard there was some in Montrose or Waverly? Suggestions? Thank you.

Might have to ship to find someone good. Very few, and losing more each year. Welcome to the forum

You shouldn't need a corvette specific mechanic to rebuild an engine. Mechanical wise, there is no major difference between a corvette engine and any other engine of the same year. By this I mean there is no one year only special diameter pistons or anything like that. Look for a good engine builder with a good reputation and you will be fine.
