Pics of your latest_VETTE_ Roadtrip Forum members.....
You Members who have gotten your VETTES roadworthy need to post some pics of your latest road trips!
I see a lot of you providing advice to us Rookies often.
NO car show pics Please.
Just pics of your car in the wild/in town/in the countryside/at the beach/etc. riding around-having fun.
Now I wanna' see some road trip pics for inspiration!

Here's some road trip pics from a few years back with my '72 as any road trips now are in my C7. I drive the '72 mainly locally.
My boy and I did about 10 years worth of the Hot Rod Power Tours in the '72. Wouldn't have been possible without the TKO OD transmission.
The '72 never broke down and always got us home.
On the Power Tour someplace probably Tennessee
Doing laps around the Talladega Superspeedway.
Probably Tennessee.
Power Tour headed to Detroit.
Bowling Green, KY Corvette Plant headquarters.

After about 4 or 5yrs of tinkering on mine to make it road worthy and to my likeing, we've been going on longer trips. Here are a few pix from the last year or so.
.
My C3 along with my wife's '02 C5. We grab two grandkids and go out for the day,, many times just to go ' NO PLACE SPECIAL' 👍
.
Last year we flew to Northern California to purchase the C5 for my wife. Then drove it home 2400mi to Cleveland Ohio. This is our stop at the Hover dam...😁
Later took the '02 500mi into Canada touring around.. Stopped at this cool spot one day for a lunch treat..
.
We also love to call up other couples and say come with us, , we take both vettes , taking turns driveing each one,, getting opinions on which one they like most. This day we went covered bridge hunting. There are 14 or so covered bridges in our area so its a popular touring route.
.
We have done several trips to shows and events as well,, ( but that's not for this thread 👍👌 ) We will add our excursions for this upcoming season to this as they happen. Hope we can be inspiration to you all to get out and drive around and have a blast with your vettes.
.
. . Oh yea,,,, they need fuel too...

Drove mine up to Trinity Beach Queensland from the Sunshine Coast Queensland, a distance of approximately 1,600 Kilometres. (One way) Stopped in Bowen along the Ocean on my way back and took this photo.
Heading up to Hervey Bay in a couple weeks, I'll try to remember to take some photos. This one gets driven.

Yesterday’s test drive.
What’s your trick to make sure you’re within your lane? Seems like you put the place where the left fin meets the hood on the left side line.
On the right, It seems to be that you put the line at the place where the hood bump ends. Is that about right? 😎

OK, road trip from last year in our NEW TO US 2012 Base. My 1978 C3 is not ready for prime time yet...
The trip had us start in Summerville SC. FIrst stop was the ferry from Beaufort NC to \Oakracoke Island NC.
Deck hand wanted to know if I could lower the car a little bit more...
You can't see them but there are 2 beach chairs horse back riding gear and an umbrella in there.I needed to take a picture the first day so I could remember how to pack it all back the next monring.
The next stop was the Food Lion in Nags Head NC.
Mine is in the foreground but I felt it was a safe place to park.
then it was time for a beak.
At the same Dairy Queen in Kitty Hawk were we went on our honeymoon in 1976, in my C2 convertible.
And finally it was time to recharge for the return trip that took us down most of the Blue Ridge Parkway in Virginia
At a rest stop on the parkway. Left it there while we went inside to eat, just to be neighborly. But if I had an extension cord with me...

What I do is.....
find the pic I like best/
place the cursor on the pic/
right-click the pad on my laptop/
select "copy image"/
start a new Reply/
place the cursor in the box
right-click the pad again/
click on "Paste".
The pic will appear in my new reply. I can copy any pic from the CF forum and paste it in a new Reply using the method above (there may be easier ways)
