that's one heck of an ownership stint, and it still looks awesome!

Good for you for NOT doing what most of us have done...Selling our future classics. I am sure you have loads of stories to go along with this history. And a great example of what a Corvette should be.

Bought my 69 in 72. Which makes me wonder who holds the record here for longest ownership? Has that question ever been floated here?

This is pretty amazing....

When I add the 47 years I've had mine, 4 of the first 6 owners on this thread have a total of 195 years of ownership of the same Vette..

I think i was 25 when i got the car, drove it for 6 months and did the Eckler flairs and hood.
Its a sb 350, old fuelie heads, edelbrock manifold, holly, t/b 400tran & shift kit.

I know there are 2 other guys on here that have 50 plus year ownership.
Yes, there is a website for One owners of vehicles but cant remember it tho, wish i could find it again.
After 6 months, Chevy said they would give me $1700.00 to never complain about the bad orange peal paint job, they tried 4 times to repaint, but it was terrible, so off to the body-shop.
