Anyone know if this is a legit used parts place?
This is on Facebook and they have what I need at a super good price. But something doesn’t feel right. They only excepted electronic payments Venmo etc. Has anyone used them?

There is a Reddit post about this.
I believe the business is real, but someone is pretending the real shop...
A real shop would have other payment methods...Be careful with who you deal with.

Be VERY careful with anyone selling anything on Facebook! I've been ripped off.

I do not like Vemo or Zelle for purchases.
They are 100% non-refundable.

Absolutely correct! Once a Venmo transfer is made it is a done deal. No cancellation or refund abilities whatsoever - even if you sent it to the wrong person. The only way to get money back is to request the recipient to send the same amount back to you. Think of it as handing cash to someone; I will only use Venmo for family and friends, not a stranger. PayPal and Square have ways to dispute, cancel, and refund a transaction - plus they're backed up by Visa and Mastercard (AmEx?) customer protections.

Definitely a scam
So here is the picture of the grill he sent me. Ready to be shipped! So I searched the internet and what do you know, I found this from 2009. Looks like it’s the same picture. When it’s to go to be true🤷♂️

Yup, same pic.
Perfect condition grilles would be double the price for just one! Too good to be true.

I have serious issues with people who cannot use punctuation. Huge red flag.
7 years ago I searched high and wide for one grille and everyone was at $400 for one back then......I finally found a nice one for $250.......
With turn signals the market is at $900 for these......
I call BS.

It is always a good idea to right click on an image like this and do a google search for the picture…

Tell that to Wally? He's a nice guy, ex judge, definitely gets annoyed by the ncrs and Bloomington gold type of people...I traveled from Wisconsin to Florida this summer just to visit his yard. He spent all afternoon with me and gave me a tour. If you just want to gawk he's got better things to do but if you need knowledge or are actually buying parts he's nice.
