Those look really nice. Who makes those?
And while you are wiring it up, are you sure that the fuel gauge is what you need to see most often, and not, for example, oil pressure?

At this point I am used to glancing to the right to check the vitals

Melting Slicks
Nice work. Really like how you placed the double din radio. I tried something like your speedo/tach set up but couldn't figure how to get the plastic lense to work over the gauges. I thought I needed that lense to trim out the gauge pod. My Autometer housings stuck out too far. Ended up getting Dakota Digital instead but I like what you did. Good job.

Man, that is slick!! I like it a lot. I too would have put oil pressure where the gas gauge is, but it's not my car, so my opinion doesn't matter! You do you, and keep.up the good work!

I like that dash in yours. This 73 has an autometer fake carbon fiber insert that I am not a huge fan of.

Burning Brakes
Looks good. These are built to order gauges, I paid the extra on these to have the lights incorporated into the Speedometer so that I didn't have to add them. It was only $30 more to add and since I was putting the fuel gauge in the center where I would normally put the LEDs, it worked out well with my layout

Its got a new 302, aluminum heads, roller cam, roller rockers, Edelbrock sequential multiport EFI, backed by a 5 speed with hydraulic throwout bearing clutch.
In the back is an 8" with a quick performance 3rd member in it. Disc brakes all the way around. It too has Speedhut gauges, wilwood pedals and master cylinders, etc...
It's come a long way since I've got it. I've got too many projects.

I did something similar using Autometer gauges and a Pioneer Double Din. Also added a backup camera to the mix. Center stack has oil pressure, coolant temp, and Volts. The fuel gauge was relocated between the speed and tach. Stock plastic lens cover fits over the Autometer speedo and tach gauges.

His layout = perfect. He has to check other gauges anyway, so keep important gauges together.
