Default Not just another Ford in a Chevy

I found this- pretty interesting.

Ford Flathead V8 - looks like it's got hydroboost - AC and a 5 speed
in a 78
It's for sale in Vermont $24.5K

Is there an electric power steering pump tucked under the fender, for the Borgeson box?

Thanks for sharing Richard. It certainly is 'interesting'. And here I thought the last of the tripower C3s were '69s!

Wow it looks cool as hell. Those are heavy and make no power. Alot of time and money just to open the hood and say WTF are you thinking. In 79 I put a 425hp 409 in a 70 Z28 a lot of people didn't know what it was. That was a flat head that could

Who knows when that swap was done.
Several years ago I built a Factory Five Racing 33 Hot Rod.
I really wanted to put a flat head with a small blower in it, just because it would have been so cool and quick in a 2000 lb car.
But the expense of building a flat head was out of my budget and was way more expensive than the 408 SBF I had built for it.

I was going to say that earlier.....the damn engine is probably worth more than the car!

He is probably getting rid of it after dicking with those Strombergs a thousand times...LOL...

If you're going to blaspheme, might as well go all the way and jam an electric motor in that C3!

At least this way, all the purists that hate what you've done, won't be able to catch you.
