My first body off
Not my car, and of course not a C3, but thought I'd share where I spend most of my time, and of course the C2 and C3 frame and mounts being so similar. This my buddies 66 350 hp 4 speed with 4.11 gears.

Looks nice! That's the way to do a body-off.
Whats the plan? Frame work? Suspension? Just body mounts?
P.S. Getting about time to remove the cardboard and pull the AC unit out, no? (sorry I couldn't resist)

That's not a restoration, he just needed to pull the transmission.

Ya'll joke, but the straw that broke the camels back is it needs a fuel line. It was running rubber from.the tank to the pump. This is a documented 57k mile car, original engine and trans. The rear is from a 69. The plan is to clean up the frame and suspension, replace all bushings, obviously new fuel line (and brake line while we're there), then remount the body for paint. We will strip and prep the body for paint separate from the frame. It's going back to its original butternut yellow, or whatever color Corvette called that.
