1968-1971 Center console correct replacement gauges
I'm looking for exact replacement GM restoration replacements for my '70.
I do see some advertised as "GM licensed" like this one:
https://www.ecklerscorvette.com/1968...-375138-1.html
Others look the same but no mention of "Officially Licensed GM Restoration Part"
yet, they appear correct, like this one:
https://www.ecklerscorvette.com/1968...-111971-1.html
Anyone know who is manufacturing the licensed restoration versions?
Anyone buy these licensed versions recently and can confirm they are correct?

Sorry, cannot answer your question directly but I can remind you, what you might already know, is that you need gauges that have greenish tinge lettering for 1970. Would you consider OEM originals? They are out there might be a more reliable and obviously authentic way to go. Ike.

The GM Incensed version claims the following:
"....gauge has the correct color face with the correct size and font where others are too dark and the silk screen is too small."

Hi Split 63,
I have original 1970 gauges that I'm considering replacing with Dakota or similar for my restomod. They are in very good to excellent condition. (Even the clock worked.) All gauge faces look crisp, no cracks or scratches in any or in the covers. If you are interested in those I can send pictures. PM me if interested.

I'm on the fence....new obviously should have fewer problems than a 53 year old original.... But a poor reproduction is worthless to me. Some reproductions are obviously wrong to anyone other than a casual observer. An NOS replacement in the box would be ideal
