Default Mystery part

Hey all, was cleaning up my 76 today, and noticed a shiny object laying on my front frame, kind of where the AC pump would go. Any idea what this thing is?

Upper control arm alignment shim. Did you have front end work done recently. Better check your upper control arm nuts.

I was thinking shim too. I'll look it over, yeah, earlier this year I had a dealership do an alignment on the car because they said I had lost some shims...

I see where it goes now, underneath that flap. At the moment I'm thinking this was an extra left behind, everything is tight. I don't see any marring or scratching on that shim, like it hadn't been installed in anything.

Might have been an extra they dropped and didn't retrieve.
