Removing original passenger window sticker
Hi all... my second question today
Just purchased my C3 (1978 pace car) this week and the last owner was keeping the original "invoice" glued in the passenger window (photo below). The problem is: I would love to take it out, but seems something impossible - when I started to take off, it started to tear the paper and get part glued to the glass. Any tips ?

A 700-mile preserved original. What a cool car. I think I would make it my goal to double that mileage before year end and enjoy this car. I think back to when I was in eighth grade and how cool I thought those cars looked. Now you have one. Congrats.

and using and enjoying the car is the reason I decided to remove the paper: it’s impossible to open the window with this. I’m for sure not going to keep it with 700 miles
thanks for all the answers so far!

window sticker
They used to use a water soluble glue and to get it off you wet a paper towel and put it on the window sticker for awhile.
You might have to do it a couple of times to get the glue to completely loosen. After it comes off a little glass cleaner gets the glue off of the glass.

agree with no where man
get another window and preserve this one. frame it, place in garage.
window is not a hard change out. replacements are all over the place. That window sticker is the gold in the car.
78 Pace Car, ok, but the original sticker in the window, I have NEVER seen that before

I took the car to a great place here for car detailing and the owner was able to remove almost intact! that was an amazing job.
He put a strong protection plastic sticker behind it and removed using a razor. Now I have the paper (that I can easily put back in the window) and an operational original window!!
