So far a very solid car.Yes I have gotten about 2 gallons of nut shells out!! But found no wire damage.

Started it up the other day runs good, But looks like I will be replacing the gas tank.

This was a great find, and a twin of my '71 project! Looking forward of watching your build.

I see you got a barn of vettes! If you have any black '71 interior parts for sale, i'm interested. PO put an '81 interior in my '71!!

Just a quick update, still dissecting things, gas tank is shot 5 holes lol Got it up on my johnny lift to start the hard work. Needs rear cover replaced knew that going in. Lots of surface rust nothing a wire brush won't fix. Found out the car lived in Ohio for some time.

I was at LJ’s Speed and Machine in Napa yesterday talking with John the owner, Mike the engine assembler/dyno operator and another one of their long time friend/customers who was visiting from Bakersfield.
These guys are all in their 70’s, retired, but working full time at their shops, building engines, designing and building chassis and racing.
They are happy and living the dream!
