Default 69 AC Blower keeps popping fuses

69 427 with factory AC.

The AC kicks on for a second and then pops the fuse.

I bought a NOS relay (not chinese crap) and I am going to install today. Thinking of going from a 25A fuse to a 30A. Any other suggestions? Worked fine a few months ago. I typically run the AC every few weeks to keep things fresh.

pull it out and run it on the bench, if its bad it needs to come out anyway.

We just went through an issue with a members car, it turned out to be a broken wire.

If a 25A fuse blows instantly you have a serious power to ground problem . DO NOT put a 30a fuse in .You can cause a bigger problem like wires melting . Go get yourself a shot finder. Its a circuit breaker that has 2 wire leads that gets hooked up in place of 25A fuse . With that in place you can trace out AC electrical system .
