Default What are you guys installing in place of a front license plate

My state doesn't have front license plates anymore , what are you guys doing in place of a license plate ?? it kinda looks naked without a plate , mostly concerned with something that matches my white Vette and not stick out or draw too much attention

You didn't mention what year. I assume your '80. On my '80, I use the plate that came on the car in states that do not require a front plate.

'Murca! I see @interpon had the same idea.

The 80 really needs a plate of some kind.

EDIT Better photo.

If you have a 1970-72, you can extend the center grill out by 4 inches and get this look....

Beats the license plate look!

Unless you cut it open for an oil cooler or driving lights, it really needs something.

I'm running a plastic plate that mimics the factory grills. Did a quick search ... don't think they are available anymore.

I vote USA 1 plate. That's what I would run if we didn't have front plates in VA.

Yes. Four (4) 4 inch extension posts (ie, 3/4" aluminum rod), each tapped and threaded for the same threads as the mounting bolts for the center grill. The posts can be of any configuration that will fit with clearance required. This could be round, square, hex or any other cross-section material that you have available. I chose aluminum as it will not corrode badly and is easy to machine.
