69 tri-power prices
I have a very nice original 69 Daytona yellow 435hp documented with tank sticker. The only thing not born with the car is the block which is a CE warranty block
a year later in date. It is a convertible with new Al Knock top and the rest of the car is unmolested nice. I had it painted again and the paint is a 9. Original spare
still in carrier and has rally wheels with bias ply tire red lines. Low option with speedminder, HD 4:11 posi and M21. Just a great car, period. What is a car like this
selling for these days? They are all over the place it seems. Thanks, Billy

Hi Billy,
If the car shows as nice as you say and it's not one of those "east coast restorations" where all the suspension, brakes, frame, floor, exhaust system, etc. are all spray painted flat black or caked with heavy undercoating, to hide the rust, I'd say it will bring $50K all day long.
It's a good color combination, convertible is always a big plus, power train is the King of the Hill, which only came in about 7% of the cars in '69, the CE block may prevent it from the very pinnacle of $$$ to some buyers, but it is certainly explainable from a warranty point of view so the car's DNA still looks good. (I have a documented warranty replacement transmission in my '65 so I don't consider it a hit at all).
C3's are climbing steadily and your car is very desirable. It all comes down to condition but I think you have a winner there.
Cheers, Greg

Sounds nice and pics would help?
a '68 427 / 400 TP just sold here in the UK for £53k ($74,400) so don't rule out an overseas sale to get the best you can for it.
