I actually have a 1990 convertible, but do look at the classifieds occassionally to see what the prices are going for - saw this by accident which actually hurt my eyes.

My eyes had a very difficult time registering what they were seeing like a Salvador Dali painting and just as bizarre.

It always amazes me how someone can spend a ton of money and time and end up with something that almost nobody likes.
If that effort had just been put in a restomod or stock frame off it would have been so much better.

That is one ugly sumbitch! They must have some pretty good drugs up there in Canuckistan. That would have been a pretty nice car if it had the stock nose on it.
From the ad: "this is NOT everybodys cup of tea", understatement of the year here! Dude, I don't think this is anyone's cup of tea but yours! Everybody always says that it is your car, built it the way you want. While I agree with that, there are consequences of doing things to your car that only you will like, primarily resell value. Somebody put a lot of money into this car and if he was going to keep it forever then it would be no big deal but why would anyone do this and then try to sell?
If the price was low enough (I didn't see a price in the ad) then someone could buy it, tear off the ugly nose and put a stock nose back on it and have a cool car (other than the goofy air intake) but I imagine the seller wants some serious money for it having spent $18K on the engine. I'd like to see what kind of trade offers he gets!

Yeah, I don't think there is any hurry to buy this. I will give kudos to the builder, as the work looks good from the pics, but zero points for artistic style. I'd be embarrassed to have that sitting in my garage, not to mention the horror of being seen in public driving it.
Besides, a 671 on a SBC & only putting out 500hp? What's the point? He claims $18k in the engine, and maybe so, but for a lot less I could easily get a bunch more HP out of it.

I can see a lot of workmanship went into the project, but looking at the front end just completely distorts the look of the Vette, it just doesn't belong there. I maybe would have chosen some hot rod platform or something more...........something........

Not bad really, here's a list of the things I like about it...
- Supercharger badge on "hood" next to supercharger
- Air filter protruding from "hood" that tries to cover blower
- No ugly supports to get in the way of the smooth air filter assembly
- C1 emblem on C3 body, one of my favs, LUV that
- Open wheels to show beauty and majesty of C3 front suspension
- It's in Canada so not much chance of me seeing it here in Texas
