Default Tank Sticker

I own a 72 Corvette 454 / four speed
Besides the Tank sticker were there any other areas of the Corvette where the documentation was placed?
(Behind the dash?)
Thanks
Vic

Yes, behind the dash is one spot you may find it. I've also heard of them stuffed under a seat. I found mine behind the driver side dash.

Sometimes the delivery truck driver placed a sheet in the passengers side map pocket. Plus your 72 has 2 pages that means lots of options.

Found my '72 LT-1 Build sheet over the right rear body mount when I removed the carpet.

I know of a '69 L-88 where they rinsed the inside of the frame before restoration and a second build sheet washed to one of the openings in the frame.

If you can't find a second build sheet take a closeup photo and try manipulating the photos - darker, lighter etc..My tank sticker was very hard to read/ torn but doing this and comparing it to a legible build sheet from that year I was able to decipher all the lines

Great advice above, other documented possibilities are behind the kick panels, (you can check the body mounts as well). And behind the carpet in the kick up panel behind the seats.
