Default who has fitted centerlines

thinking of buying these as anyone done this if so will they fit my 1982 . i have cooper cobra 275 /60s for the rear and 255/60 for the front will these tires fit with these wheels . https://www.summitracing.com/search/...er-line-wheels

I'm not trying to "rain on your parade", but I thought that Centerline Wheel Company, at least the company that made the spun aluminum wheels, went out of business several years ago, then reorganized as a "truck wheel" company....

Backspacing on OEM corvette C3 wheels is 4.0". Those centerlines you are considering have a 4.5". Which will make your wheel track 1" narrower. T

Keep in mind, the OE wheels are 8" wide, and the Centerlines are 8.5", so it's a wash....

It's a very old, "general term" that more or less means that things are pretty much equal. In the case of this discussion, where poster "terrys6t8roadster" said that the Centerline wheels would sit further in on the car, than the OE wheels, due to their increased backspace, I pointed out that the Centerlines were a half inch wider, and that extra half inch would then place the outer edge of the rim in the same place as the OE wheel.
