Yes had great experience with Fabulous recreations in Fort Lauderdale...off Commercial blvd. 954-462-9427 Had them rebuild my Holley 750 double pumper did a great job. Also attended a NCRS meet there with judging...the shop is impeccable.

Very knowledgeable and professional operation, BUT---always VERY BUSY. Might be a while for an appointment.

Automatic or manual? Just remember that there is nothing special about a Corvette transmission. It is the same as any GM transmission of the era. Why pay the "Corvette" premium? Find a good transmission shop in your area (not a chain).

Auto. I know I hate at the end of the day when you drive by the shop and your car left outside with doors and windows opened, and car seat is black.

Final update:
Base on recommendations I have decided to go with: AAction Transmissions at Coral Spring FL.
It was probably the best decision I have ever made. Would highly recommend them.

Cruiser works in Delray Beach, See Mike the owner. Did a lot of work for me, super pleased. See his shop, all older muscle & classics. Pleasure to work with.
