Who needs a project?
1969 or 73 Corvette

Just got more info on the vehicle. The car is a 1970 corvette. The guy said the cars front end was changed because someone wanted it to look more modern.

If you dumped $40k and endless hours into that car you would have a really nice $30k Corvette.

But people buy $40k cars and as soon as it leaves the lot its worth $35k. After 5 years its worth $20k if your lucky.
This restored classic might still be worth that $30 after five years and you've had a ton of fun and learned a lot of stuff

A car like that 70 with the 73 nose isn't something I'd restore back to original. You'll end up losing your shirt trying to achieve perfect originality. Something like that is best built however you want it, with no care about originality. Have some fun with the color, maybe some flares and bubble tails, sidepipes and button tuck interior.

Why is everything always about money? There are more important things.

Wow I don't think I have ever seen a frame that bad. There is nothing realistically that you can do with that other then junk it. Add new frame to the expense list!!! Ike

Kind of looks like new Titanic pics. I have never seen anything like that on an actual above ground car. Doesn't matter how much money or free time you have. There is nothing left. Wait until you get to the bird cage and windshield frame....

I need a project! Oh hey... then i could change my username to ballpeentothehead...
Then again, IF... you already had a complete rolling frame/suspension/brakes... you could buy that and have a driving 69 for under 10K. Buy that and a mid-70's with a trashed body/interior and make one car? If that was a Mopar/unibody it'd be a dead car, but a Corvette leaves options. Not the easiest way to run a circus... but it could work. If that were 6K Cdn, and close to me, i'd think about it.I know where theres a complete rolling 80 frame...
