My first vette was a 1970 LT1 vert. Loved it but I was in college...in portland..and while gorgeous new paint, it was a backyard resto and a mess as a daily. Paid 13,500 sold it for 15,000 in 96 I believe.
2003 bought a red z06 with 4k miles on it. Did heads and cam, at that time the car was amazing. Then we started are family and realized a z06 and z28vert probably wasn't a good idea. In retrospect we should have kept them.
Two years ago got the "son" deal on the z06 my dad bought new.. cleaned it up and made it more me. Greg good heads, pat g cam and all the bolt ons are on the way.
Just bought this from a forum member. Here is a pic from it being picked up by transporter! Super excited to be back into a c3! Its a 70 that I'm going to need to fix the front end on...but im just going to enjoy it for a few months. Got an amazing deal and met a great car guy along the way!
This is my baby...owned it for about 10 years. 600hp fuel injected pontiac 466. T56 and all the suspension goodies etc etc etc. Getting some high end rollers on order!

Money can't buy you happiness... but... it can buy you a lot of Corvettes and a hot young stripper wife... and that's pretty much the same thing....
