Millennium Yellow from the 2000 Corvette is my favorite, none of the other yellows were quite right.

Velocity Yellow is a fairly pure yellow. As I remember MilleniumYellow pushes a little in the orange direction. The C8 yellow just looks chartreuse in the pictures I've seen. Here is my VY car in muted lighting. It was an $800 option so I think there probably were some addition steps required at the factory. Be sure to keep an additional quantity of paint for a major touchup, it would be hard to match even from the same supplier.

Daytona Yellow was the stock color of yellow in 1969. It's one of the better C3 yellow shades, IMO.

I'm kinda partial to Rustoleum Sunburst Yellow, still a good value at $8.99 a quart at Home Depot.

1975 Corvette Bright Yellow. Code 56. I call it a green yellow. It does not have a the orange or red tint of other yellows. The two shots in the driveway are at exactly the same time, just different light angles, obviously.

It's ultimately an aesthetic choice and whatever you choose, you need to see it for yourself in sunlight.

Any good pro auto paint supplier should have the resources to obtain the correct paint formula for 1969 Chevy Corvette Daytona Yellow. Most auto body/paint shops also have the same info. Most have stocks of standard paint colors that are mixed (according to paint color databases) to the exact shade you require.

In my experience with yellow any respray will come out differently no matter how good your supplier and paint shop think they are. Since you are painting yourself, take careful notes on your gun pressure and other settings and stockpile your paint.
