While not lacking in style, a C2 (or C3) would need to be clad in stainless steel to make for a more efficient time machine.

Sadly, we may never know the science behind this, as in our timeline, Doc Brown was interrupted and killed by Libyans just before explaining this to Marty. This may be why still don't have flying cars.

Yes it a damn shame, it would have been nice to fly to work yesterday, today.
