Default '69 Restoration - Before and After Photos

It hasn’t been driven since 1983 and, after three years nine months and five days of restoration work, it's back on the road and will be going to its first Cars and Coffee (hopefully) tomorrow so I thought I’d share a few before and after photos for comparison.

You can read the car’s back story at the beginning of this thread:

Great job, beautiful car. I consider myself a good mechanic, but I could never pull one from the grave and do what you did.
For those that think they'd like to restore a C3, this would make a great lesson. Would you dare list the dollars and hours that you invested in this? (we won't tell your wife).

There is some real talent out there!
As the owner of a 69....SPECIAL!
Don't feel bad if the 'before' pictures have a certain appeal....like finding a diamond coated in mud and KNOWING there's a diamond in there!

GREAT!!!!!!!!

UNKAHAL.

Thank you all for the kind comments. It was a labor of love and not my first "trip around the block". I restored my wife's Bridgehampton Blue '70 coupe (body on) back in 1981.

Why did you have to show that beautiful specimen? I still go back and forth over whether I should have bought the Lemans blue over bright blue 69 L71 over my LT1.

Awesome work! I don't know your profession, but if it's not in car restoration, you're in the wrong business!!!
