Headlight Vacuum Question. Puzzled with this one.
1970 Corvette vert. Headlight vacuum relay mount bracket.
Where does it go?
When I bought the car the relay(not relays) was laying down forward of radiator. Now that I am putting it all back together, I realized I am missing the mount bracket for the forward relays.
Bought one off ebay. I can't seem to find out where it mounts. Any info, or pics would be great.
I tried to go to local car show and gets some pics, But when the hood is on and everything put together it's tough to see that area'
thank you

It bolts to the reinforcement that goes across behind the light buckets.......see it in the AIM pic? There are weld nuts on it......they take a flange style bolt.
The relays are funny as both brackets are the same so both left and right have a bracket facing the same direction.

Early C3 cars had a separate bracket that screwed into the header bar to attach the relays to. There were no weld nuts on the backside I've ever seen. The AIM pic shown above is from a 74. Here is an older file photo from a '70 showing the bracket and the relay attachments. Note, many of the holes the screws attaching them are too small as the screw holes enlarge in time from exposure to the elements I assume. You can see the 2 screws attaching the bracket to the header bar in the back of the pic.

Hmm - now this is interesting. My 69 only has 1 headlight relay, but both headlight lines (the red, green lines to the headlights) go into a 'T' connector that
itself goes into the one headlight relay. Was this Bubba'd or was this standard for '69?
