After reading Richard Coopers thread on spare tire sizes, I got to thinking I don't know what is under the 1980 that's been sitting in my garage for ten years.
I was hoping for a tire on a 15x8 rally wheel like what was in the '74 but found this instead.

Turns out it was the original spare. This tire has never seen the light of day much less the road. It still had 30psi. not bad looking for 38 years old.
I'm going to have it dismounted so if anyone wants it let me know. It still looks good through the tub hole and still has the little nubs on the tread.

You could shred the bead dismounting it. Leave it on the rim it came on.
