Default What engine do I have??

Hey everyone! New member here, really excited for what the future holds. I recently bought an 84 K5 Blazer with a Corvette engine installed, however the person didn't know exactly WHAT engine it is. I have tried finding the block number but the ones I found I couldn't find anything online about them. I've posted a few pics I took. I'm hoping someone out there knows what engine this is. Thank you everyone for looking!

I don't see TSB in any suffix code chart. engine was made in Ontario Canada. need block casting number. may well be 307 or 305.

Did the previous owner give you any backup to support his/her claim it was a Corvette engine?

I thought it was T5B which didn’t make sense either.

When you see a "T" at the beginning of the suffix code (TSB) it typically designates a Truck engine.

alum intake and headers. must be a corvette engine... Troy. clean the number off below the k0607TSB. i bet it is the vin number of your truck. if so, it is a numbers-matching truck...

Thank you everyone for the replies so far. Sadly, I've gone through all the paperwork he gave me with it but nothing about the engine was in it. The numbers that are hard to see are 19523009

Holley Dominator aftermarket intake with an Edelbrock (not a) Performer carb. Can't tell if the block is blue or black? I am betting that this is the original engine that some one slapped some aftermarket parts on.

The vin doesn't even come close to those numbers. The VIN ends in 200516

Newbie here, I've looked up where those numbers should be but I can never find a good picture to really place where I should look so I haven't seen them. The picture I posted with those numbers are the only ones I've seen

Sadly, as many have said above, many sellers have claimed their vehicle has a "Corvette" engine in it. Even if that were true, that may not mean much, as the mid 70's engines were not that powerful.

The Lime Book shows T5B to be a 1984 350 small block, 155hp, for trucks. In your case, a Blazer. TSB is listed for 75 and 78 454 engines for trucks. None of the three are Corvette engines.

Its not the end of the world on your motor. If it makes you feel better, my Vette has a truck motor in it.
Its been modified a bit to make 507hp at the crank, but its still a truck motor. As long as it runs well, who cares where it came from.

Learn something every day. That Lime Book is pretty cool. I'm not a "numbers guy" and hadn't heard of it.
I actually found PDF online at the below link:

I am very pleased to see that The Lime Book is being used in this fashion, and people are finding it useful.

Feel free to continue to upload the pdf file on any appropriate websites (with the webmaster's permission, of course).

The only restriction is that is cannot be used for commercial purposes.

Ya'll continue to enjoy..
