Hi M,
The 3-speed manual transmission was standard on 68 and 69 model year cars, with the 4-speed transmission being an extra cost option.
The 4-speed transmission became standard for the 70 model year and beyond.
The 3-speed manual wasn't available.
Regards,
Alan

In 45 years all kinds of things could have been swapped out. It was probably available for 50 bucks when previous owner blew his trans in 78 or so...

Just curious why you want the M-21 versus the M-20 manual four speed.
Could I ask what rear end you will be matching to it?
Appreciate the information.
Thank you.

Not sure of the rear end but I had a close ratio M 21 in a previously owned '74. After a lot of thought I am going to pass on the '73 too much work to make it nice.

Just another Corvette guy
What are they asking for it?
