Just because i support a persons right to build whatever they want, doesnt mean i like every modded " custom" that pops up,

I see members modded cars get praised when if the same car was just a Craigslist find it would get bashed, hypocrisy or being civil and showing tact?,

My support of Building what you desire is the way i have always been, over a decade ago, any and all modifications posted on here were bashed hard, didnt matter if they were great mods or dog ****,

Now that most c3s here have modifications in some way or another pointless bashing and trashing would be hypocritical,

So sure, ill walk the fence edge, ill admit i dont like a custom if i dont but i still won't trash it....

I follow your view Bats. Like your home is your castle (regardless of how good or bad), a persons car is their shrine. Good or bad.
Some people dont have the eye, or vision, for a thought out build. ...Some are just outside the box.
The PC trend on forums these days, IMO, is to not poop on peoples bad ideas. And its better to be positive vs negative anyway, so a lot of questionable ideas get a free pass... (What, your tires stick out 3"??? ...Thats beautiful!!! haha)

Uh oh, I'm a new guy around here! I better run for cover when I get my car done up! lol

for everyone's sanity this was a photoshop. I personally dont really care for the back glass on the 78-82 cars and had the thought of what would the c5z style glass look like? Was just a fun mess around and wanted to get thoughts. It's been and still is pretty obvious that a majority of c3 owners are generally in the older crowd and less likely to go for drastic changes on these cars. I also agree with the previous statements of modifications being ones own taste and a fine line to walk on what is well executed and what is simply just terrible. To each their own, do whatever you want with your own car. Your time, your money.

In general, I like the concept of the shorter rear glass because I really like the look of both the C3 convertible hardtops and the C5Z. However, it doesn't look quite right with the long rear body of the rubber bumper cars.
I think that if it was shortened to the '68-'73 length and had a slightly larger spoiler lip, like the CIC rear tail panels, it would help the overall look.

Well there goes my theory of a fuel cell in the back needing to be isolated.

Im 53 whats "older crowd" i like mods even radical if they flow,

Try a hard top style rear glass the one you are doing ends too fast or something doesnt flow, looks chopped off to me,

The white original version of the car is pretty darn sweet, im doing my L88 flares same bolt on way,

I kind of like the dash switch layout would like to see more of the dash cant say i like the wicker basket coverings,
