Thanks DG for the concerns, hope it will miss us but I don't think so. We are in the middle of the state, hope it helps.

We went thru Andrew's Cat 5 eye wall 25 years ago in the same CBS house, which tore the concrete tile roof off and wrapped the garage door around the cars. Decided to ride it out again and go stay with our sons in either Orlando or Jax after the storm passes...if they have power. Gotta have A/C and water to live in this heat and humidity.

Being a near Charleston, SC guy I was thinking about throwing out a "Good luck" to fellow coastal residents myself. Wishing the best for our FL neighbors right now. Stay safe!

Hope every body stays safe. Looks like high tide & wind will be the main problem not rain like in Texas. Just do your best to protect your things and hope the insurance co. takes care of the rest.

Melting Slicks
My wife and I just received news about our property in Providenciales. The main structure appears to still be intact, but the garage and pool area are toast.

We're directly in its path. We'll get through this like we did the others.
I wish everyone a good outcome.
BTW- The rain just started, and the breeze is getting breezier.

Safety Car
Back in 2004, Charlie took out most of our trees. The eye was doing 105 sustained when it went through our neighborhood. We`re hoping this one slows down a bit by the time it gets to the center of the state.

Burning Brakes
Thanks DG ! Went thru a few of them since I've been here !
Went thru Charlie with winds at 100 mph plus and this one is going to be a lot like that ! House is cinder block with a flat roof ! Warehouse where the Vette is built with cinder block and slab concrete ceiling! My bike is in a shed in the back yard and the side car is going to the shop at work ! Well let you know when we get dug out the front door! Just hope it don't shoot out in the Gulf and come back or head towards you guys!
