I'm cutting Photobucket off. No way am I gong to pay $399 a year. In the unlikely event there are any photos of mine you want, best grab them soon.

Hi Ed,
You've been gone for about 6 months and this is all we get?
What's been happening with the car?
Regards,
Alan

Hi Alan,

My off-beat sense of humor, peculiar world view, and, as pointed out early on, disrespectful attitude, convinced me that perhaps I am not a good fit in this community, ergo my absence.

With respect to The Plastic Pig, progress has been slow up to now. However there’s now gas in the tank, the float bowls are full, the dipstick reads full, the cooling system is topped up and, if Piggie’s Guardian Angels are smiling, it's gonna speak today for the first time in ~ 34 years.

Best,
Ed

Hi Ed,
Thanks for the update.
I'd wondered what happened to you.

Alan

Come on over to OT with the other wise-a$$es.

This seems like *very* poor move for PB, in light of the reaction by many here.

So what was your next choice to host photos?

I was thinking about your "Plastic Pig" thread the other day.
The last time it was updated was on Boxing Day.
I'm eager to see your progress.

As far as the photo hosting goes, I've always done the "insert image" method direct to this forum as noted in page four of the PDF in the linked Sticky.

Most all of us have at least a little bit of these traits, don`t we?? The forum would be like a ghost town without some flavor!

Another case of the absurdity of social media. Making you pay for something you don't really need but are convinced you can't live without.

I was also interested in reading your thread. And I have also been screwed over by PB! If they'd been reasonable about how they implemented charges and how much they were, I would have reasonably happily paid for the service, but they sure as hell won't get a dime from me now. I bet they're out of business in 6 months...

Thank you, folks.

It started today. No proof, of course. Well, a vid on my phone, but the sound didn't come thru when I emailed it to my computer...

Working on getting prior owners (still missing one) to sign and provide ownership dates on top of the tank. The party from whom I bought it did the deed today. Hopefully owner number one will get his name on it this week.

Using the instructions posted under 'Uploading Images for Forum Posts', accomplishing the task is pretty straight forward. The photo above, with the 66 in the background was done following the instructions, as is, I hope, the one immediately below...
