I have the original spare tire, that came with the car. It still holds air and is in OK shape, but I haven't carried it around in it's container under the car in quite some time. It's just sitting around. QUESTION: Is this tire really worth keeping? Thanks in advance.

Nope, it is no good as a spare. If you want to try EBay to sell it for a few bucks, have at it.

Yes, Bill, I wouldn't trust it to drive more than afew feet even though it looks good.

@ Mel, you have a beauty! I always loved the Corvettes through the very early '70s, when Sunoco 260 was around and factory compression was high.
