I was going through my Grandparents old album and found this photo of my car. don't mean to bore people l, but I think it's interesting. Bit of history of my car. It was purchased new by my mother in 1980 out of spite. She was a scientist for the Upjohn Company(a drug mfg now owned by Pfizer) and wanted a Porsche 924. The Porsche dealer told her that, as a young woman she would be having kids soon, so she should look at a car like a SAAB, or volvo (which they sold). She got angry and left. She was driving bye a Chevy dealership on the way home and saw this car in their window, loved the curves, and bought it on the spot.
Anyway in 88 she sold it to my uncle who drove it to CA, parked it in around 91. I bought it in 2006, and just finished working on it.
This is my grandfather with the car in CA, in 88. I have every single piece if paper generated for this car. Window sticker, original receipt , original plate, you name it I have it. Too bad it's not a 69BB hahah.

I had a "sales-hole" do that to me once... sized me up and tried to push me into some wreck instead of what I wanted.
He called me the next day..."Want to come test drive?"
"Nope... I bought (more expensive car than what he wouldn`t show me) with cash just after I left your place!"
