Looks like a good day to take out a great Vette.

That is a VERY nice 1974! Beautiful car. Looks like snow this week so more weeks of storage for me.

Nice! I envy you! I've had the C5 out, but the spring fronts blowing in and out of here are always "in" when I might have opportunity to retrieve Deja Blue from hibernation. Won't be long tho.

Thanks, the letters were on the car when I bought it 2 months ago. I'm new to the C3, so I'm still learning about them. My other "car" is a C4.

I didn't know there were different letters, I do know this car is a late 1974 build. Are these letters not correct for this model? If they are not, I may want to change them to the correct ones.

I "pushed" them into the recessed area to mark where the post holes should be drilled. Had to move a couple of the holes slightly with epoxy to get it perfect. Not a big job, but detail oriented for sure.

Love the medium blue paint! Where did you get the letters?

Letters are just the standard Vette supply item. Don't remember, but probably got them from willcox, paragon, or ecklers.

Our local pro hockey team had a cruise-in before the game and unknown to us, they selected certain cars to drive on the ice during the 1st intermission. There was 2 C-7's and my 72, a 20 something mustang and the night rider kit car. As we entered the ice, the cars started revving up thier motors and I let it rip with my 383 stroker and the crowd went crazy slamming against the plexiglass. I did it a few more times before leaving the ice. My friends in the C-7's said that I stole the show

That certainly is a beautiful car. Too bad the seats were pretty empty.
