Default 1982 rear main seal and pan gasket.

I need to change the rear main seal and change to the one piece pan gasket.Do you use any silicone when changing these?what is the torque settings for the rearmain and the pan gasket.Anything else I should do or look for while I am there?

Are you sure it's the rear main seal? I thought mine was leaking but fortunately, it turned out to be the valve cover gaskets.
