Gawd, I'm at three ex-wives! The two girls don't bitch at me, but they're sure good at picking my pocket, when they need something! BTW, believe it or not, the C4 is actually a good 9" to 12" shorter than the C3 and not as tall either!

That's exactly what I'm talking about! If any of you, with one 'Vette, ever wanted a second Corvette, the late C4's are great cars. The only caveat, is to make sure the seats are in good condition, with no rips or tears. The sport seats in the late C4's are $600 each!

The key to buying a nice C4, are three things:

1. Original Owner (or at worse, 2nd Owner).

2. High End Neighborhood (usually very clean, well cared for cars).

3. Mileage consistent with the year, but low mile examples can be had.

Default Mom and Pop Corvettes

My gift to my wife for our 25th wedding anniversary was a 2008 C6. Next to it is my 1981 C3.

Its my current project in process.
a 1975 vert l48

it is mostly original however you can see it has had the 80 rear bumper put on by a PO.

The motor is original but will be swapped with w 450HP 383 next year probably.

I just installed Vintage Air and put TT II PVD wheels on it.
New door panels, and Fiero seats.

here is a recent photo...

Is that the one with the infamous rear end carnage? Is it back together yet?

That is the one, yes. Not even close to being back together. I have tracdogg2 building a differential for it. My funds are a little limited at this time though.

Same here. I understand and sympathize. No telling how long that would keep me sidelined. Post some pics and write up when he's done. I would like to see it. Good luck and I'm pulling for you.

Only have the one now, but once had 3 'vettes at the same time out of a total of 4 owned. All were C3s except for the '92 LT1 6-speed below. The sharks have and will always be my first love, but I seriously miss the C4...
