Starting to work on "Storm"
This may be more of a list to remind myself.( Wife said 60 is just around the corner )
In the last two weeks,
1) Reset tranny kick-down switch, $0, and cowl works also.
2) Tachometer board, Willcox, $58
3) Odometer not working, $25 , E-Bay broken needle speedo
4) Original steering wheel reinstalled, $0, and now horn works
5) Headlight switch, $38, E-Bay again, Lights open with switch
6) All new dash light bulbs, while I was there
7) Rebuilt both door regulators, $100 (approx.) Corvette Central, windows work MUCH better
8) Aligned drivers door, NO fun
9) 2 New low beams, 1 mounting ring
10) Adjusted neutral safety switch, Back-up lights now work.
I'm sure there will be more to come.............
Have a Great Day,
Bill

Nice "to-do" list! I'd trade your list for mine.................but that wouldn't be nice.
Keep chipping away and post a few pics.

my to do list just keeps getting longer. The more I work on it, the more that I add to my list.
Good job in getting all that done in the last two weeks.

Forgot.........
11) Adjusted T-Tops
Today
Rebuilt right headlight actuator. Now faster than left (was slower)
Still need to do a few adjustments on it.
Found that the "security" system is mostly intact. (need to check door switches)
More to follow, and I will get some pics up.

Here today to "Testify Brother"
Storm was having a nasty habit of pulling to the right. I had not
yet scheduled an alignment, so I looked though the Threads.
Low and Behold , Control Valve Adjustment !
10 Minutes , $0 , what a Great Place !!!!!!
While there , replaced the last of my free parts (that came with car) ,
the power steering hoses.
More updates soon.

Found some time to clean and repaint air cleaner.
Then get the tie rods changed. Did I mention I had to make 4 full turns on the old ones to center steering wheel? (reason to replace)
Done with that part ,steering straight and turn signals cancel.

Another project
Trying to get another project done before the SNOW comes.
Back window was leaking anyways.
And I heard of these "removable" back windows.....
Lowbuck72 needed paint supplies.........
So, here I am, trying to help people out.........
And I did read that the installing the seal was messy. But I had no idea it was that BAD !
I still need to adjust the latches some, when I an find time.

Doing some good work there, Would you mind getting a little more in-depth with the removable rear window? I have all the parts to do mine but haven't started (still dealing with the dash Charlie Foxtrot), but hope to in the not too distant future. Thanks and keep up the good work

Thanks All for the kind words...........
As far as installing, pretty straight forward. Only problem I had was finding the right size "u" nuts for the latches. (3 different hardware stores) If you have any problems or questions, let me know.
Oh, and I haven't seen San Antonio since that "join the Air Force" and
and see Texas tour I did in the early 70's.
