I was 18 in Jan of 68, the build date of my current C3, and a freshman in college. I remember seeing a 68 in the fall of 67 on campus and thought it was truly amazing.

My 68 was 20 when I was born and my 75 was 13. My dad bought the 68 around 72 when he was 21 or 22. It took me until I was 26 to buy my first one but inherited the 68 a couple years before that.

I was 20 years 4 months old when my '71 was built. Four years later I bought it for $4,500 and my friends thought I paid way too much for a used Chevy.

I was 24 when my 72 was built and couldn't afford a new one then. I was too busy building my house and using all of the cash for that . Had to be responsible you know ! Didn't buy my first Corvette until I was 30 and was able to pay cash.

I was 7, and interestingly enough I had a red Corvette R/C car at the time. One of those where you pushed the button and it went backwards to turn.

25 years old when my 73 was built.
I predate any Corvette (car that is) by 5 years.
