Default Grandpa and Lillie go to the car show

My granddaughter Lillie, spent the might, then we got up early, had a quick breakfast and left for the annual Fiesta Days Car show. Here's a few pictures of a fun day! At one point she was stopped by the local constabulary, but let off with a warning about the burnouts and speeding!

Getting ready to go

A little something to eat

Lillie's Car loaded up

Buckled in and ready

A little break in the action

Honest Officer it wasn't me

Maybe if I punch it, I can out run him!

Nice 62 vette

A little pick me up!

Short nap on the creeper

This is a cool one, supposed to be one of 8 and only one of 2 left in tact. Apparently a custom with huge power and no expense spared!

What a great day, kids make it special!

So who had more fun, you and Lillie, or mom and grandma while you were gone? Great pics and get ready for her to ask to use the car for the prom!

Good question, I'd bet Grandma went back to bed for awhile!

Great job Grandpa! They're only that small once. It looks like both of you enjoyed your time together. Nice pictures. Thanks for sharing.

Great pics. That's always a good show. I would have been there too but was out of town for the weekend.

Hi 75,
Quite a nice assortment of cars but nothing even close to being as special as Lillie!
Regards,
Alan

Thanks for all the kind words, I'm sure I'll look at the pictures often and remember the special day, kind of makes my heart swell. Hopefully many more to come.
