1969/1971/1976 Coupes
I'm 52 or 53 now (can't remember) and bought my first Vette (78) at age 26. Have owned 7 (C3's and 4's) since the first one.
Grew up in a single parent (dad) household though and have been a right seat rider since I was 12. Family cars were 70's Vettes.

That's a good looking car. I hope mine looks that nice when I'm done with her.

25, purchased my first a 1973 convertible a couple months ago.
I figure if I'm going to enjoy life with a babe magnet, I need to do it now while I'm still young. Too many "gangstas" around here driving Camaro's and Mustangs, so I wanted something a bit different. A friends been working on this ladies 75 c3 for a while, when I saw it, I had to have one.

Us old farts definitely have the edge. The club I joined has an average age of about 60, my guess. And it seems that the vast majority of them currently own several.

I am 36, and just got my baby.
She is older than me....shes a cougar like that....
1973 BB 4 spd coupe...shes 42.
I am guessing I don't fit the majority demographic. (Car older than driver.)

Late bloomer: I'm 66; bought my first Vette - a '76 - 1.5 years ago.
Can't say what the future holds, but I doubt the next year will be spent dropping Crates or stances, swapping trans, taking out a 2nd mortgage for a 'proper' paint job, or increasing ponies to ticket-inviting power.
Nope. Jes' drivin' and changin' oil.

22, purchased my first vette at 18 it was a 1993 bright aqua mettalic great car but was an automatic never got the money to do a transmission swap to make it a manual so I sold it to get my 73 when I was 20, originally l48 automatic, now completely built motor switched tranny to a 4 speed, 3:55 gears, zo6 seats, stiffer springs, i know purists cringe when they see my mods but i dont really care ill never sell this car unless someone offers me a crazy amount of money also you can't beat the style of the c3

I'm 48, and recently picked up a '74.
I always loved the look of the C3's when I was a kid, used to have dealer corvette brochures on my wall above my bed. when I was in my late teen a buddies father has a '70 LT1 package 4 speed- black on black with chrome hooker side pipes. well he never drove it and didn't want it sitting in a garage so he's let me take it out to cruise nites and would tell me to "stretch her legs out", love at first sight!
