Default Some people need to be beat.

Seriously beat and beat hard. Like with chains and rocks. Often. Like everyday. For the rest of their lives. Buddy drove it in high school in the early 80s. Parked it outside in a field right off the bayou in Louisiana in 1986. I tried to get it from him in 1998 and again in 2000 when the wheels started to go down into the mud. His response "I'm going to fix it up for my son when he starts high school". His son is 30 now. Matching 1970 Chevelle SS 396 Green with white stripes. Stopped by today to see if it was still there. I'm going to text him the picture with two words under it. "You Dic*head". My other buddies 1964 1/2 mustang fastback 289 4 speed 2 + 2 black with red interior is still on the side of his parents house at least covered. His dad bought it in new in Jackson Mississippi in 65.

I'd much rather see them on the road but they do make great lawn ornaments and planters

If I had a nickel for every guy that I heard saying " I am going to fix it up " and the car rots into the ground for 30 years. There used to be a 1955 Chevy 2 door hardtop sitting in the country beside a garage uncovered with writing painted on the windshield saying "NOT FOR SALE " It sat there for at least 30 years and rotted into the ground. Then one day I went out past there and it was gone. Probably went for scrap.

Would not even make a good "street" stock car now. Wonder how many snakes live under that beast now? I would not disturb it now.

I would guess many of us have watched some kind of "classic" car or truck waste away sitting in some one's yard until it became junk.

Hood would be great for garage art. I still have access to Ellen DeGeneres's '67 Camaro and it is in better shape. mike...

I know it's a shame to let a car rot away like this, but it is their car to do with as they please.

Plus, it's just an SS 396 - not rare or an especially good engine.

You couldn't pay me enough to monkey around that thing , the giant snakes , gators , pre historic size poison ivy ......screw that, they made like 500,000 of those cars ......buy one ready to go.

That POS can just sit there and dissolve back into the earth......
