I'll play along
Not a huge change on the exterior as it wasn't too bad even after sitting under a carport for 8 years.
Towing it home
As it sits today

I just got my 69 a week ago. So here's what I am starting out with. Originally Gold , Black interior , 4 speed small block 350. Power windows as well. Motor is not original but rest of car seems to be all there. Sat 25 years on blocks. More to come in the next few weeks.

First off, it's not done. Im working on the interior now. Not shown in these pics. It's not all original. The body and frame are original. The block is the same the car was born with. The trans is the original muncie m20. The rest is a combo of original parts and repop stuff. I never intended to build a factory correct restoration. I wanted a nice healthy gen 1 engine. I wanted the body to look original. Except for the paint, my late wife loved green, myself I pictured it in black. And since Im still mourning her recent loss, black it became. I wanted updated suspension parts, nothing radical, I went with a grand touring kit. Everything has been rebuilt. Name it, its been gone through. No stone unturned. It is essentially a brand new 72. Heres a few of what Ive been doing for the past 4 yrs. Things left to do, adjust ride height once interior is in. Work a few drivability issues out, and then just drive the hell out of it. Oh and that gen 1 engine? Yeah, its freaking healthy!
