Default A stamp that is making me go WOW!!!!!

Okay guys, this could be a big fish!!!!! I said "could."

I totally went W W when I saw this.

SO FAR this is looking good! This COULD be a very special car. Maybe a hidden gem, perhaps????

Take a look at this stamp. I don't want to let the cat out of the bag just yet.
If someone is looking for a car like this may find this one VERY VERY VERY VERY interesting. I know if I were in a market for a car like this I would be all over this one getting information.

Anyone tell me when this motor was built?

How does the stamp look to ya????

That's beyond me. I know how to get the codes for the three digit designator, but not sure how to see, what trans, came with what engine, just off the numbers on the engine pad.

Chevrolet Corvette Base Coupe 2 Door | eBay
Certainly looks the part. The tach is correct, reads 6,500 RPM redline and the shifter plate plaque, looks to be worn just like the areas surrounding it.

TBV: gotta ask, why the caffeinated excitement?

I've read that when big money is being considered, the block stamps should be reviewed carefully, to be deemed genuine.

And because this code represents a rarely ordered option and the seller is not asking over 6 digits...

I did note that this car has a heater vent (pic with pedals), heater hoses and they are connected to a... heater? Thought that coded option, was also heater delete (along with radio)? Or could that be added? I'm asking, not bangin' anyones chops.

I'll be lurking to see what it is that you have discovered.

Very few cars excite me. This one is so doing it because it is my favorite year and may actually be a real special car. I did have caffeine though today. I tend to bash advertised cars. It is exciting to find one that is shielded from me. A very rare occurance!!!!

Let's see. 1971, mille migali red, black deluxe interior, 4 speed and could be a rock crusher tranny, rare LT 1. Radio delete...who cares? The exhaust is the music I wanna hear. What scammer is smart enough to stamp a CGY on the block? I say not one. I like it!

Indeed! I am trying to sniff out a big block radiator expansion tank....

I don't see one in the pics. Is it because the picture is cut off preventing it from view?
