Congrats.
If it's rubber. Replace it; tires hoses belts. Fresh coolant, brake fluid, gas. Make sure the brakes work properly.
Classic Vette's take work and TLC. But their worth it.

I forgot to add. Replace the bumpers. The old urethane bumpers, once they start to crumble, aren't worth fixing.

Congrats!

By the way......

those GREAT-LOOKING front tires on the '68 car I bought from under a shed nearly killed me two weeks ago.....

for no apparent reason they decided to start coming apart at 60 mph!

Then I checked the manufacture date----------barely used and about 15 years old!

With this crowd your post is worthless without pics. Everyone wants to see a barn find. Best of luck getting her running,

Congrats! Your car already looks great!

I would definitely try to match the bumpers and only make small blended repairs for any imperfections in the paint. After some time on this forum, you'll soon realize what a huge deal paint and body are on these things.

You're also extremely fortunate to have such complete interior that looks to be in really nice shape.

For the rest...I agree with the others, give it a good restore on the perishable items...hoses, weather stripping, seals, fluids....

Welcome to the forum!

Man your car looks better than I imagined. YES it is worth fixing up, from the looks of it…it really does not need as much work as one might have thought.

There you go. Not every barn car is a dusty moldy pile.

This is a great car that has been cared for. No need to replace all the hoses, etc.. Get history on fluids. Change tires and just drive it.

Im not selling it just wondering aprox value i know its not the most collectible year but has sentimental value to me as it was my dads! the clock does not work and radio is has static, interior lights work when doors open and buzzer when key is in ignition, seat belt buzzer and warning lamps work, carpet is a little rough power windows tilt, telescopic, and all gauges work?
