Just Bought Kim Basingers 1978 Corvette
Im new to the Forum side of the corvette world. I have been dealing with classic cars for a little time now but this car seemed to cool to pass up.
This Chevrolet Corvette was acquired new by actress Kim Basinger on September 14, 1978, it is believed to be a gift or bonus for a television performance and may be the first brand new car she ever owned. That year marked the 25th anniversary for the model and this car was purchased from Schonlaw Chevrolet on Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood, California. The car was in the Basinger family from new, Kim's brother was the second owner, who drove it before storing it in 1991. He brought out of storage in 2009/2010
I now am the owner but dont know to much about the upkeep of the C3 Vette. Any suggestions, the car is in immaculate shape and I was looking for some help from someone who knows more about it then I do,
