I was always more into muscle cars but I got an awesome deal on a 71 stingray coupe needing some TLC. After driving a couple weeks think I'm gunna keep it. I'm sure this has been covered but I'm looking for some material or books on C3 restorations. The engine bay and interior are my main interests. The wiring is pretty hacked up as well

Order a reproduction owner's manual when you order the AIM and the service manual.
Congrats on the 71.

I thought my dash wirings was in good shape.....I removed the gauge panel to repair the clock & oil pressure gauge---I found five insulated wires melted together "just waiting" to short-out and cause a fire ( I actually had to remove some of the original black wrapping to see the large amount of damage)

Yep, I actually had mine start smoking on a drive back in March! Not good to be just driving along and suddenly...
