Wrong stud pattern. The commodore has a metric stud pattern 120mm bolt circle whereas the vette has a 4 3/4 bolt circle. It's only .6mm difference but it's enough to snap the studs over time.

You would need to have adapters made because the offset is wrong so the difference in patterns could be addressed. I'm just not sure why anyone would want to do that.
