Thanks guys, as a young guy I was pretty hard on anything nice (cars and bikes)
So this really does impress me and most of the people that know me.

You really have a beautiful 68 coupe, Rick! Something that you can really be proud of. I have had mine for 43 years, this month. It looks ok, but I was hit really bad by a drunk driver, in 1979. Lou.

43 years is very impressive, really sorry yours was hit, Lou.
Mine was painted with the original Ralley Red in a PPG base coat/ clear coat back in '96.
Mines far from original but that never bothered me.

That too is something to be proud of. After having it in a wreck you could have scrapped the car. But you chose to save it. My '72 was involved in a wreck last year, and I too saved it. I am still working on getting it put back together.

Thanks guys
The '65 was the first vette I fell in love with because of the show StingRay back in the '70s, I believe.
I'm extremely impressed by those of you that have had yours for over 40 years!

Beautiful '68, Rick. A sure testimony that some of us grow up enough (through attrition, I suppose) to learn how to take care of equipment.
Best wishes for the next 25.

Thank you Rick and Brandon, for the kind words. My 68 coupe was my daily driver after a divorce for 4 1/2 years and a drunk driver turned into my front wheel and driver door. The impact snapped the hardened 3/8" power steering cylinder end off, and bent my steering arm.
The large vacuum tank in the driver side fender smashed up my firewall. My door hinge pillar also got smashed, along with the front of the door. So it isn't NCRS anymore, but I sure love driving it when I can. Nothing beats driving the 47 year old Vette past a dead new car on the side of the road! Both of you enjoy your rides and save the wave. Lou.
