Hello,
1979 vette painted in Black Rose per last owner. Driveway gate sensor failed hit bumper. Need simple remove bumper color match and slap on. Most shops wont touch? The few that will are asking 1400.oo no body work to bumper. No bondo. Just sand. Why so much? Even w bumper left on and painted (bad idea) price was 1000.00. No way! Anybody honest and capable. This job should be no more that 600.00 for what I want. Everybody is a crook. Thos is just paint damage on a bumper. Help with anybody honest I should look for. Thank you

ran the gamut of bodyshops only one I trust is Dougs Custom in Chatsworth does lots of vettes. He isnt super pricy butnot cheap either
Gonna cost what its gonna cost but youll get it done right and quick with 0 hassles. Does ins work also
I think most are overpriced also but it costs big bux to run a shop esp in ca....workmans comp epa garbage high rents etc etc. 2-3 guys working on it say spending 15 hrs so + at shop rate adds up real quick.
