I drive my 81 one to two times a week if the weather is nice. I am averaging 2-3K miles per year. I love my vette but I would not want it to be my daily driver. If I wanted a DD vette, I would have gotten a C6. This is just my toy car.

Ours is the weekend car, unless the weather is just nasty, and we have taken it on several longer trips.
Averaging a little over 6000 miles/year.

I thought I would take it out today, but the weather has other ideas. I was getting chatter out of my diff so I changed the fluid and put some posi additive in. I wanted to see if it is cured, but I need to wait till tomm now.

Whenever possible. This means no rain, snow/salty roads, or any other stormy conditions. Car shows and the occasional cruise are a must if there's free time. All in all, the care is driven as much as possible but never enough.

You know about the saying that goes: If it flys, floats or..uhhhh....well there is one more, it's cheaper to rent than own.
Planes are mucho dinero to keep.
I suffer from a similar aviator illness, but someone pays me to fly and I get to own the Corvette. Best of both worlds.

I get about 2000 miles a year on the vette. No rain, snow, left over road gravel or salt.

Hey that is cool. My entire family is made up of pilots. My dad has been flying for 40 years, and is a captain for American. My sister and I fly our 172 working on building time to eventually join the airlines.

152s are cool, but 172s are a little bigger and a little more powerful. What are you looking to get out of flying? Just for fun or a career?

My '72 only has 50,000. From 2003-2007 it saw 500 or less miles. Since then, it probably has gained 4,000-5,000 miles. It was off of the road from 2010 to about 2013. Just as I got it returned to the street, it was wrecked, and back to being off of the road. Now it is getting a frame on. So hopefully next summer my '72 will be back and ready for some fun.

Depends on the time of year. Living in Seattle, the winters suck for it but the summers are beautiful.
Summers I drive it to work 1 or 2 days a week then as much on the weekend as possible. Winter, maybe once a month if I am lucky.

About 2100 miles in 3 summers

Working for an airline, I spend an average of 250 nights a year in a hotel. When I get home, it's the never ending "Honey-do" list, spend some time with my bride on the motorcycle, or work on things around the house. Not much time gets devoted to Corvette therapy. Right now, it's waiting on me to get a vacuum sensor set-up for the LM-2 wideband, and then work out the carb jetting.
